Preschool Classes |
Children need an atmosphere that allows their natural enthusiasm for
learning to grow. The preschool division (K2, K3, K4) of GIS offers a
stimulating environment in which a firm foundation for learning is
established. Preschool classes focus on acquisition of verbal, visual, and
numerical skills within a trans-disciplinary curriculum. Our preschool
learning centers provide children with exciting opportunities for discovery
and exploration.

| Elementary Classes |
| Each child's individual needs are understood and respected at GIS. We
offer a challenging academic program in our elementary division (K5-G6)
while providing the intellectual and moral support necessary for your child
's success. The elementary division uses the latest texts, workbooks, and
computer software from the USA. Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science are
a combination of the best of US, European, Australian, and Japanese
curricula, while GIS' Physical Education, Computer Skills and Social
Studies are teacher-created and based on a multi-cultural theme that
addresses the needs of the international student body. Dramatic Arts, Music
and Dance help to foster the creativity and sensitivity of each student.
These programs are tailored for the students in each class every year.

After-School Programs |
A variety of after-school programs are available including
Japanese language and culture class, sports and exercise class, and private tutoring for curriculum
support.
Private ESL classes are available, as are small group language support classes, for those
who need extra help to achieve academic success.
