Examinations is demonstrative of our commitment to academic integrity. Our high
schools offer both semestered and non-semestered timetables, and include a wide
variety of programs to meet the needs of all of our learners. Although we prefer
entry at the beginning of a semester, we do provide the opportunity for
continuous intake through out the school year. The division also offers
Immersion programs in French and Ukrainian, a successful band program, and
numerous extra-curricular activities.
We believe that a strong student support system is critical to a successful
experience for our International Students. Our staff maintains continuous
contact with our students, homestay families and schools. Our focus is to
provide students with a successful educational experience, tempered with
rewarding cultural experiences and extra-curricular opportunities. |

Homestay Program
|
|
Students are encouraged to participate in the division Homestay Program with
approved local families. Our families are willing to open their homes to
students wanting a safe, caring, nurturing and supportive environment. While
staying with the homestay family, students will have the opportunity to
experience Canadian culture, practice English, and develop friendships and
memories that will last a lifetime.
Our Homestay program is under the direct supervision of the Director of
International Programs, and ensures that each student is placed in a safe,
friendly, positive environment. The Homestay program endeavors to meet the needs
of each individual student.
Homestay families will provide the student with an individual bedroom, quality
meals, bathroom facilities, laundry and telephone access; in exchange, students
are expected to help with household responsibilities (chores), follow division
homestay guidelines and participate in activities with their homestay families.
