The internationally accredited (AACSB) MBA degrees (Master of Business
Administration) at GISMA can be pursued either full time (in 11 months) or part
time (in 22 months) the latter program being designed to meet the needs of
executives wishing to study without taking a career break.
Participants and faculty come from all over the world to GISMA, therefore the
MBA programs are taught in English. In this year's classes there are 49
full-time MBA students coming from as many as 22 different countries, as well as
41 students in the Executive MBA program called "International Master's in
Management (IMM)".
GISMA Business School is closely affiliated with the Krannert School of
Management at Purdue University (Indiana, USA) from which graduates receive
their degrees upon completion.
Thanks to its inspired concept and backing by numerous commercial and
public-sector sponsors and partner organizations, GISMA rates among Europe's top
business schools.
GISMA Business School in Hannover, Germany, was launched in 1999 as a joint
initiative by the state of Lower Saxony and visionary private-sector

1. Full-time MBA Program

GISMA Business School is known for its unique
general management program, which combines the quality of an internationally
recognized U.S. MBA degree with extensive real-world experience in a
German/European business context.
The full-time MBA program is based on the core curriculum of the academic
partner, Purdue University's Krannert School of Management, from which GISMA
graduates receive their degrees upon completion of the program. The program is
internationally accredited by the AACSB, and consistently rates among the Top 25
in international rankings.
Being a concentrated course of study, GISMA's full-time MBA program is completed
in only 11 months, though based on the same core curriculum as comparable
two-year MBA programs. This timeframe is challenging but of special benefit to
those who prefer not to take an extended career break in order to earn their
degree.
To ensure the integrity of the academic program at GISMA Business School,
admission is limited to applicants who meet certain requirements. Tuition
amounts to EUR 25,000. |

2. Executive MBA Program (IMM)
|
|
GISMA Business School's International Master's in
Management Program (IMM) is an extra-occupational Executive MBA curriculum for
individuals from all over the world who have the potential to advance to
executive positions in their globally active companies or institutions.
Prospective participants have typically worked for an average of 10 years and
have had initial experience in managerial positions.
The IMM is offered by GISMA in cooperation with three other prominent business
schools in the USA, the Netherlands and Hungary. IMM graduates earn both an
American and a European MBA.
This 22-month program enables participants to achieve the best possible
work/life/study balance. New knowledge and skills can be applied immediately on
the job.
The core of this extra-occupational program consists of six 14-day residence
periods at the four cooperating business schools and in Shanghai. The IMM is
internationally accredited by the AACSB and the AMBA, and ranks among the Top 20
such programs throughout the world.
To ensure the integrity of the academic program at GISMA Business School,
admission is only open to applicants who meet certain requirements. Total
tuition amounts to EUR 52,500 including EUR 13,000 for accomodation and EUR
2,500 for books and other course material.
