English World 20, 30, and 30+5 – weekly start dates
English World 20: Study for 20 lessons in the mornings each week, to focus on
speaking, listening, reading and writing.
English World 30: Study for 20 lessons in the mornings and for 10 lessons in the
afternoon each week, in the afternoons choosing a Study Option [eg Communication
Skills, Business English, or Examination Preparation].
English World 30 + 5 is as above with one extra private lesson every day
Examination Preparation – weekly starts for IELTS, set
dates for Cambridge
Study for 30 lessons per week with 20 lessons in the mornings to focus on
speaking, listening, reading and writing, and 10 lessons in the afternoons to
focus on IELTS or Cambridge examination preparation.
Academic Semester/Year – weekly start dates
Courses designed to help you develop your English over 6 or 9 months for either
15 or 30 lessons per week [or 20 or 26 per week in Bournemouth] with monthly
tutorials
University Foundation – starts October, Accelerated
Foundation starts January
On completion of this 30 lessons per week course you are eligible for entry to
undergraduate courses run by our partner universities for subjects such as
business administration, marketing, finance and accounting, politics, tourism
and hotel management.
Work and Learn – weekly start dates
Our Regent Work and Learn department can arrange an unpaid work placement in
business administration, research or office assistance [or in
marketing/advertising, event management or public relations if you have a
background in these subjects – and other types of placement might be available
on request]. Practise your English in a real-life working environment and gain
the University of Cambridge International Examinations Certificate in Work
Experience. You can book a Work and Learn placement with an English World or
Academic Semester/Year course.
Elite World – weekly start dates
ClasSIX small group courses for ambitious learners to make the fastest progress
with seminar style presentations, practical assignments, interactive tasks, and
the creation of a Personal Development Portfolio, for 20, 30 or 40 lessons per
week, or a combination of ClasSIX small group lessons and private lessons.
Executive – weekly start dates
Small group top quality professional courses focussing on building business
language and developing communication skills and strategies. The programme is
designed to mirror real-life business situations and help you communicate more
confidently in meeting, negotiations and social situations. You will also
develop your awareness of cross-cultural issues, important for working with
partners of different nationalities. Choose 20, 30 or 40 lessons per week, or a
combination of Executive small group lessons and private lessons. |

On most Sunday afternoons in Brighton, Cambridge, Edinburgh, London and Oxford
we open the schools so that you can meet other students and study or socialise.
We have flat screen TVs, wireless internet and student computers in all our
schools, as well as student lounges and study facilities. Some evenings we also
