Our language school specializes in short-term English Plus
programs for international students seeking to improve their English language
skills during short visits to California (one week to 3 months). Our programs
concentrate on conversational American English and how it is used in everyday
business and social situations. Programs consist of 15 hours or less per week of
English language lessons, therefore an I-20 Visa is not required. We provide
tuition in a friendly and supportive learning environment in a highly desirable
area of the United States. Students will improve their conversational skills and
increase their vocabulary, improve their listening and pronunciation skills, and
gain confidence in speaking English. |

Campus
|
 The California School of English resides on the second floor of a new office
building near the city center. Students attend English lessons in large,
air-conditioned classrooms with comfortable seating that create the perfect
learning environment. The student lounge is open before and after classes and
has a library, free internet access, and table soccer games. The popular Rancho
Sports Center, a large and modern sports facility with private fitness center,
occupies the ground floor of the building. |

Location

The California School of English is located in the
Temecula Valley (population 220,000), a safe and affluent community in beautiful
southern California. We are ideally situated between the major metropolitan
areas of Los Angeles and San Diego, away from big city problems but close enough
for easy day trips. We are also near superb beaches, magnificent mountains and
the vast Mohave Desert.
The Temecula Valley is widely known as the 'wine and golf country' of southern
California. Our 14 award-winning wineries and seven top-class golf courses make
it a popular tourist destination as well as a desirable place to live. The
climate is one of the best in the country, making it the perfect place to enjoy
the Californian lifestyle all year long. Temecula is modern, clean and safe and
is home to new shopping centers, a wide variety of quality restaurants, great
nightlife, and numerous sports facilities. Our school is located a short walk
from Temecula's historical 'western old town'. |

Staff
|
 Our English language instructors are native English speakers and have many years
experience teaching English to a wide range of international students. At a
minimum, each instructor holds a bachelor's degree with a TESOL, TEFL or CELTA
qualification. Student achievement and success is our school's mission and all
staff members give personal attention to every student. We have a
Japanese-speaking member of staff which will ensure that all matters are taken
care of. |

Homestay Accommodation
|
Living with an American host family is the best way to become immersed in the
American way of life and culture. Our host families provide a comfortable
homelike environment and students will have many opportunities to practice their
English. Our host families have been carefully chosen for their ability to host
international students. With our network of families we match students to the
host family with similar interests and hobbies. Students have a private bedroom
in a safe family environment, the use of a bathroom and facilities to wash their
clothes. Breakfast and dinner is included. |

Excursions
|
On weekends we organize excursions to popular places of
interest such as Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood (Los Angeles), and the
beach. These excursions are optional and cost extra. |
