MBA |
The CBS one-year full-time MBA is a rigorous action-learning General Management program with a
knowledge intensive focus. Starting in September every year, the program is taught entirely in
English. The program is aimed at young professionals who seek to enhance their career prospects
and business knowledge as well as sharpen their interpersonal skills.
The MBA program is divided into seven 6-week terms. During each term, three courses will be taught
with the exception of the final three where the company-based Strategy Project will be introduced.
In addition to topics such as strategy, finance, economics, organizational and marketing management,
participants will also be introduced to courses and issues of specific relevance to companies in the
Knowledge Intensive industries. These courses and issues include: Global Business & Leadership; Knowledge,
Information & Communication Systems; Design & Management of Technology; Managing Knowledge Intensive Firms;
Managing Communications & Political Processes; Managing Change & Implementation; Value Creation and Managing
Stakeholder Interests.
Leadership Discovery Process |
| The Leadership Discovery Process is designed
to take participants on a journey of personal and professional development. An integrated
combination of case studies, group activities and in-depth individual and team coaching
enhance participants capabilities to see their managerial practice in a wider perspective.
The unique Leadership Mentoring Scheme offers participants the opportunity to be mentored by,
and work under the guidance of CEOs and senior executives throughout the duration of the MBA program. |

The Strategy Project |
| During the last three terms, teams of
MBA participants, under the guidance of CBS faculty and experienced executives,
will conduct an integrated client-based strategy study. The Strategy Project consists
of a comprehensive Industry Analysis, Company Analysis as well as an Issue Analysis
and Implementation Plan for the client company. In return the company commits senior
management time, resources and funds. The Strategy Project is considered to be the
highlight of the MBA where participants are given the opportunity to apply their newly
gained knowledge to a real executive situation. |
International Environment |
| Great emphasis is placed on ensuring a global
perspective with regard to both enrolment and the content of the program. Furthermore, to
ensure that the participants fully benefit from the intercultural and highly collaborative
learning environment and to maximize the interaction between the participants and the faculty,
no more than 65 participants are admitted per year. The average age of the participants is around 29. |
Career Services |
| The dedicated MBA Career Services partner
with students in identifying their career opportunities. In addition to career advice,
the Career Services organize on-campus company presentations and fairs, job search
workshop covering CV writing, personal branding, competence profile, interviewing
and networking skills. |

| After having finished the MBA,
participants will have gained an appreciation of all the theoretical aspects
relating to organizational, strategic and managerial issues. They will have
enhanced their operational capacity through exercising a holistic analytical
approach and strategic thinking. Furthermore, the participants will have
developed a cross-disciplinary insight into and in-depth understanding of
international relations. This, coupled with a greater cross-cultural understanding
and outlook fostered by the international study-environment, endows the participants

Admissions Requirement |
CBS is looking for candidates with a
good academic record, at least two years of work experience, leadership potential,
a good GMAT, letters of recommendation, completed application form (can be downloaded
from our Web site) and a personal interview.
