About Spanish Lessons |
  First, new vocabulary words and grammar are introduced using pictures and other materials. Once the students understand and get used to the words and grammar, questions and answers are exchanged in a natural conversation. Students have as many opportunities as instructors to speak, so instead of passively listening they're learning and acquiring the language by actively speaking it. If students learn only by having the words and grammar explained to them, at the time they might feel like they're learning, but they're not really acquiring the language. To become able to really use the language, it's important to use it at the same time you're learning it. |
