Chichester College is a British State Sector College established in 1964.
At Chichester we enjoy an international reputation for the quality of our teaching, the variety of our
courses and the success of our students. At the College there are 800 international students from over 80 countries.
The south costal city of Chichester is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It has the rolling hills
of the Downs to the north and Chichester Harbour to the south. There are excellent road and rail links to
London, the major air terminals and the ferry ports. Rail services will take you to London in 1 hour 45
minutes, Gatwick Airport is only 50 minutes away and Heathrow Airport is not much further. France can be
easily reached via the nearby Portsmouth Ferry Terminal.

Foundation Courses: Business & Science/Engineering |
Chichester College has joined up with the Northern Consortium of UK Universities (NCUK) to deliver the NCUK
International Foundation Year (IFY) programme in Business and Science & Engineering.
The International Foundation Year (IFY) programme prepares students for study at undergraduate level in
NCUK Partner Universities. Partner universities recognise the course as meeting their entry requirements
for international students and NCUK guarantees students who successfully complete the IFY a place on a
degree course in their chosen subject of study.
NCUK's eleven founding UK University partners (NKUP) who created the Northern Consortium are:

Entry Requirements:
- minimum age of 17
- successfully completed secondary education

International Diploma in Hotel Management |
This course has been designed specifically for international students aged over 18.
The purpose of this programme is to prepare students for a career as a future manager of a restaurant or hotel.
Successful participants can expect to progress to employment in leading hotels or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management.
Programme Outline
- A taught programme focusing on the Hotel and Catering specialism.
- Paid work experience in a UK hotel or suitable establishment.
- Candidates return to College after completion of work experience for one week assessment and feedback on candidates' work will take place.
Entry Qualifications
- Satisfactory completed their compulsory education.
- English competence equivalent to Upper Intermediate level.
- One year's experience in the hospitality industry setting is required.

This programme aims to developed, within a business context, the language analytical, application, numerical,
research and personal transferable skills that are needed at entry level to an MBS or Masters level programme
at British Universities.
