Summer Programs

  • Coquitlam School District

    Morning-Only Intensive ESL

    This half-day program emphasizes practical speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary and writing skills. Students will participate in activities focused on such themes as Canada, the community, the environment and British Columbia.
    Time: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon

    Afternoon Cultural and Athletic Activities

    Afternoon activities can be combined with the morning-only ESL program to create a complete well-rounded ESL and Canadian experience. An opportunity to experience Canadian culture and use newly learned English skills by participating in group activities and by exploring the beautiful outdoors of the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia. The Afternoon Cultural Program includes such activities as swimming, picnics, golfing, tennis, bowling, canoeing, hiking, team sports, crafts and bus trips to popular sightseeing areas.
