    KIST will be holding a School Explanation Day for parents of children from pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 interested in enrolling for the 2008 – 2009 school year commencing September 2008. Administration and teaching staff will be available to answer questions regarding admissions procedures, the school curriculum (as based on the IB PYP, MYP and DP courses), and general features of the school. A tour of the school facilities will also be conducted. Reservations are essential and may be made by telephone or on line.

    Presented by: Marsha Rosenberg

    Marsha Rosenberg has worked as an educator in international school communities in Japan for the past 25 years. She has raised her own children bilingually, and she works with families to help their children successfully develop language bilingually. She also does diagnostic and therapeutic work with children having speech and language delays and disorders. In addition, Marsha is the source for referral intake on English speech and language services through the Foreign Association of Speech and Language Pathologists.

    Marsha will "…present English language resources in Tokyo for children with various learning needs. This will be an open forum for other parents to present sources they are aware of as well." (Marsha Rosenberg)
